So far, I have written five books and have recently published my first novel.

Which book, out of all the books you have written, is your favourite and why?

That’s a hard question. I love all of my work and each book is unique. But I will have to say ‘The diary of a nagging wife.’  As it is very funny and relatable in every way.

How do you choose the names of your characters?

Sometimes it can be tricky to find names, but often I base the names of my characters on their looks, and personality.

Which of your characters would you want to be stranded on an island with, and why?

I would have to say Megan, as she has such a bubbly personality, we would probably have a great laugh, while were waiting to be rescued.

One of my favourite author is Jane Green, I love her writing style and her books take you deep inside the characters,

The thing I wrote was a poem when I was around 9 years old.

What other jobs have you done other than being an author?

Before I became an author, I was a singer and songwriter, performing at different venues in the UK, and in America. After I had my children, I settled into the role of a singing teacher. I then began writing novels in my spare time.

What are your favourite things to do?

Outside of reading, I love going to Theatre’s, Music Concerts, long walks in the park with my family. I am also a movie buff, so you can’t go wrong with a good movie and some popcorn.

If you could give your younger writing self any advice what would it be?

Be patience, and continue to work on your craft.

Name one book you think everyone should read?!

The best of me by Nicholas Sparks
