It’s that time again lovelies – my favourite subscription box has landed on my doorstep! The unboxing of March’s The Natural Beauty Box is live on my Youtube channel (link at bottom). This month’s theme is ‘Almost Good Enough to Eat’ and that couldn’t be more true!!
About The Natural Beauty Box
If you’ve read previous posts, or watched my unboxing videos, you will already know about this fabulous box!
For those that don’t know, this box is a monthly subscription box that delivers 5 or 6 natural, cruelty free and vegan products directly to your door. Each month has a different theme, which is curated amazingly well by the lovely Emma.
The box is £24.95 per month with FREE postage and is most definitely value for money. Each box is worth over £50; I’ve had boxes worth near on £100!
I have honestly found some of my favourite brands and products through this box so it’s definitely worth checking out if you want to treat yourself each month (go on….you deserve it!). It sells out each month so quickly, so make sure you don’t miss out!
March’s ‘Almost Good Enough to Eat’ Box
The only way I can describe this box is by using the theme! The products are most definitely ‘almost good enough to eat’! They all smell absolutely amazing and I was excited by each and every product in this box. Emma also added an additional little extra, which could be eaten…..a vegan chocolate bar from Raven Chocolate which was divine! It was very much needed and appreciated after smelling all the delicious products!
The box is worth an amazing £64.49 – absolutely amazing value for money considering the box costs £24.95!
So….what was included?
Five luxurious, fabulous products, all of which (as always!) I can’t wait to use, plus the added chocolatey extra! Here they are…..
The Skin Alchemists – The Gorgeous Soldier 100ml (£34)
I am a big fan of The Skin Alchemists so was over the moon to receive another one of their products, and I was not disappointed!
The first thing I noticed (and was surprised by) was how BIG the tub was! I had seen that this product was coming in the reveals but hadn’t imagined that it would be so massive – one happy girl! On opening it, you can literally smell CHOCOLATE! I honestly wanted to lick it!! The scrub feels amazing, and I wished I hadn’t already had a shower. I’ll be using this tomorrow for sure!
The scrub is 100% natural, hand blended with plant oils, rich butters and coconut shell resulting in an amazingly exfoliating blend which will combat dead skin cells. It claims to buff away dry skin, restoring optimal hydration and I’m confident that it will.
The Gorgeous Soldier contains raw cacao which is rich in antioxidants, and high in magnesium, vitamin C and omega 6, all of which will help cells to repair and rejuvenate. It also contains red alaea sea salt which contains volcanic clay which is said to contain over 70 different minerals and is high in iron!
Honestly, how amazing does this sound? I have a very strong feeling I’m going to well and truly fall in love with this product (I’m already on the way!) so keep an eye out for a blog post of it’s own!
Heavenly Organics Skincare – Peppermint Foot Balm 15g (£6.99)
How beautiful is this? When I opened it, the balm was wrapped in tissue paper; on opening I was so pleased with how cute this is! It has a lovely fresh peppermint scent to it and feels amazing. I’m really looking forward to giving my feet a treat, especially with spring on its way.
We all know that peppermint is cooling, soothing and refreshing for tired feet, and this will be wonderful in the summer for giving tired feet a ‘pick me up’. I’m so excited to give this Heavenly Organics foot balm a try!
In addition, the founder of Heavenly Organics is also a vegan herself; and an extra added bonus is that there is no plastic with this product. Once it’s all used up, you can buy the refills for the tin which come in a compostable bag. I’ll definitely be looking to purchase more products from this wonderful lady.
Pink and Green Skincare – ‘Marzipan’ Body Souffle 100ml (£16)
First impressions – this smells AMAZING! Exactly like marzipan, and again, I just really want to eat it! The texture feels lovely and it smoothed on my skin really well, and soaked in very quickly.
This soufflé is a blend of shea butter and plum kernel oil making it rich in oleic acid, linoleum acid, vitamin E and B and beta-carotene. All of these together provide amazing moisturising properties.
There is so much information on their website about how amazing this product is, no write up I could do would do it justice so I highly recommend you go and check it out.
Not only is the product amazing, the company is too! This product was created exclusively for sale to support a long-term based therapy aftercare programme for survivors of sex trafficking in collaboration with Safe from Slavery. More info over on their website so go and check it out. I’ll definitely be supporting this brand going forward.
Kokomelt – Mini Lavender Hand Scrub Cubes (£3.50)
I’d never heard of Kokomelt but I’m happy to have found them! I absolutely love the packaging (no plastic in sight!) and the idea of this. The tin contains lots of little cubes which are made from dark muscovado sugar and oils. The cubes don’t contain any soap which means they shouldn’t dry out your hands – fabulous for someone like me!
You just crush one cube into wet hands and rub around your hands; the oils contained within should replenish the oils that your hands need! Fabulous! These smell really lovely too so I can’t wait to use these. I struggle with using soaps when I’m out and about because of my sensitive skin so may well carry these around with me; the packaging definitely allows for this! At £3.50 they are also really affordable to re-purchase! I’ll let you know how I get on!!
Aura Organics – Chocolate & Orange Lip Balm (£4)
Chocolate orange are two of my favourite things, and THIS is AMAZING! It smells of chocolate orange, tastes good and feels so lovely when it’s on your lips. I’ve only used it a couple of times and would already recommend!
Aura Organics is a new brand to me but I’m excited about finding them! This balm contains organic sweet orange oil, dark cacao butter and is enriched with organic plant oils including coconut oil, caster oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E. All of these have fabulous properties which make for an amazing balm which is moisturising, nourishing, healing, softening, plumping and protective. Definitely what we all need with this cold weather (and hopefully warm weather on the way soon!).
I will most certainly be adding this to my handbag so I can use this daily.
I’m sure I say this every month but this box is definitely up there with one of my favourites; if not THE favourite! Everything smells so amazingly good, I’m sure Chewie (my dog!) is literally going to want to eat me! I absolutely loved the added touch of the chocolate bar too. Emma always does an amazing job and thinks through each and every box so wonderfully.
I would highly recommend you go and check out The Natural Beauty Box – there are so many options and if you want to get just one box and see how you get on, you can cancel at any time (you won’t want to though, trust me!). You can also get a discount if you sign up for more than a month….AND you can can get 10% off your first box with code FIRSTBOX10. I promise you, you WON’T be disappointed!
Have you tried any of these products? Did you get this box this month? Let me know what you think!
